Essential Functions:

Monitors playing and practice season requirements including playing and practice season declarations, tracking of countable hours, outside competition, and time management plans for all sports programs.

● Monitor all aspects of recruiting for all sports programs, including official visits, unofficial visits, complimentary admissions, recruiting/scouting services, off-campus recruiting limitations, and athletic business office reconciliations in Workday, etc.

● Reviews and approves NCAA and Wake Forest University compliance forms for student-athletes, coaches, and staff.

● Main point of contact for official team roster management changes for all sports; updates ARMS software and other compliance office databases and personnel on roster changes as needed.

● Assists with monitoring student-athletes' name, image, and likeness disclosures and award limitations in accordance with Wake Forest University policy.

● Reviews and approves coaching staff declarations.

● Monitors and approves student-athlete employment.

● Provides rules education for new Wake Forest employees.

● Provides interpretations of ACC and NCAA rules to coaches and non-coaching staff members.

● Assists with ACC/NCAA waivers and institutional or NCAA reports as needed.

● Reviews team travel itineraries.

● Assists with rules education for student-athletes, coaches, non-coaching staff and non-athletic staff members with athletic responsibilities.

● Assists with updating Wake Forest compliance policies and procedures.

● Assist with monitoring camps and clinics.

Other Functions:

● Share supervision duties of student interns or externs, etc.

● Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate Athletic Director.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Bachelor's degree required and at least 1 year of experience working in compliance at the NCAA division I or II level. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Must have experience utilizing a compliance monitoring programs (e.g., ARMS, JumpForward, FrontRush, etc.). Excellent organizational and communication skills. The ability to multi-task with flexibility, patience and attention to detail and accuracy while prioritizing workload. Ability to work evening and weekends as needed.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Master's Degree or J.D. Preferred 2 years of experience working in compliance at the NCAA division I level. Experience using student University systems, such as Banner, and navigating NCAA systems,

such as LSDBi, Compliance Assistant, the Eligibility Center and ARMS. Ability to utilize technology to update processes and improve efficiency.
