Falconwood, Inc. is a woman/veteran-owned business providing executive level consultants and programmatic support to Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) initiatives and programs.

We have an immediate opening for a Cloud Strategist to provide support for the PMW 230 Logistics Integrated Information Solutions-Marine Corps (LI2S) program to deliver modernization and sustainment of Marine Corps supply and maintenance functions and systems. This includes providing an integrated and distributed logistics capability that will enable leaders to effectively plan, manage, execute, and monitor logistics operations from both a garrison and a forward deployed environment.
Responsibilities
The Cloud Strategist will:

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure that includes evaluating legacy applications and systems to determine viability to be migrated or transferred to cloud services
• Implement and manage cloud-based systems for business use and help debug cloud stacks
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions
• Develop Fit-for-Purpose User-defined views (subset of architectural data) created for a specific purpose. Collaborate with engineering and cyber teams on the implementation of cloud technologies and initiatives. Review and develop hybrid multi-cloud solution architectures
• Knowledge of software development, scripting languages, and a background in designing web services in the cloud
• Administration of DevSecOps tools like Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus Pro, Jira, Puppet etc.
• Implement DevSecOps processes and CI/CD tools to automate software delivery platform on premise or in the Cloud
• Automate configuration and builds of new environments using configuration management and provisioning software
• Assist with implementation of test automation strategy and processes
• Implement version control and artifact repositories
• Create Engineering documentation and procedures to implement tools into the environment
• Participate in all Agile processes to create user stories and to assist in developing Sprints and Releases
• Work with PMW 230 support contractors to facilitate completion of various project related tasks including, but not limited to high level policy development, architecture reviews, and project readiness reviews
• Participate in the creation of cost guardrails, processes, and procedures that galvanize a culture of cost ownership
• Take part in \"Cloud Center of Excellence\" (CCoE) teams

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• Minimum SECRET clearance
• In-depth Understanding of DevOps principles
• 3+ years of experience with administering DevSecOps tools, i.e., Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab, Sonatype, Veracode, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with administering provisioning and configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible
• 3+ years of experience with administering SaaS environments
• 3+ years of experience with OS System administration (Linux, Windows)
• 2+ years of experience with containers and microservices
• Previous participation in the design of deployment automation and experience supporting deployments
• Hands on experience implementing technologies in the areas of Software Configuration Management, Environment Management, Testing Lifecycle Management, Release Automation, Workflow Management, Defect Management, and Cloud
• Ability to think independently with minimal oversight, as well as demonstrate exceptional written and oral communications skills
• BS Degree in Cyber Security/Engineering/Programming field (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Programming, Systems, Security)
• DoDD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security plus certification)
• AWS Cloud certification(s) (preferred)
• Familiarity with Marine Corp network architecture is a plus
