Description

The Strategy Advancement Advisor provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large. The Strategy Advancement Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

Location: Remote however preference is Louisville in office

Supports development of Clinical Solutions segment strategy, bring priorities together, while acting as liaison to segment partners. The role would be asked to analyze/synthesize complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. This person will work autonomously and exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks.

In this role you will:

• Engage in an ambiguous problem solving and strategy setting
  
• Use data, analytics, and insight from experts to identify the greatest opportunities in clinical outcomes, quality, cost, and experience across clinical solutions
  
• Lead cross-functional teams to define discrete opportunities that are both impactful and achievable
  
• Work directly with cross-functional partners across the enterprise to create the execution model and roadmap to capture prioritized opportunities
  

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree
  
• 7 or more years of consulting experience, strategy development, commercial and/or strategic planning or business strategy experience
  
• 2+ years of leadership experience
  
• Strong critical thinking skills
  
• Strong analytical experience: being able to synthesize data; develop a methodology to help bring strategies together and present on those strategies
  
• Microsoft Excel modeling & PowerPoint presentation skills
  
• Translating ambiguity into structured framework and/or processes for analysis
  
• Experience leading cross-functional group of leaders/teams
  
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with ability to flex to different audiences
  
• Ability to conduct, interpret, and leverage data and analytics to improve strategy and make recommendations
