Your new company
Our client is one of Houston Texas leading civil contractors who specialise in excavation, site work and utility construction for heavy civil and industrial projects. Due to internal promotion and growth, they are looking to add an estimator to their team. Their projects values range from $500K - $10Mill.

Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive bids for underground utilities and site work construction projects. Your day-to-day duties will include quantity take offs, work scope assessment, cost estimates and completing the final bid preparation. You will be a key member in the estimating team and will be involved in the pre-construction process right through to final bid stage. You will be a key member in Estimating department and have the ability to grow up within the company.

What you'll need to succeed
You will come from an extensive background in Civil construction ideally with experience in earthworks, utilities, and site preparation for commercial projects. Ideally you will have started your career in the field and have some onsite experience. You will have strong communication skills and be proficient in all Microsoft office programs. Experience with HCSS - Heavy Bid is vital and experience with Agtek is a plus.
