• Releasing cheese from brine cages. This includes proper tracking of cheese vats being sent to packaging.
• Proper cleaning and sanitation of brine conveyor belt.
• Able to understand and operate weight scale unit.
• Must be able to lift 60 Lbs.
• Keep pace with shift operations and production demand.
• May be required to obtain forklift certification.
• Learn the proper operation of Cryovac units. This includes the installation of bags onto these units.
• Able to operate M-Tek unit.
• Learn to operate Box Maker.
• Able to properly pack all types of cheese produced by production dept.
• Learn to operate various types of pallet jack lifts.
• Responsible for maintaining food safety and quality.
• Follow all Saputo GMP guidelines.
• Proper use and knowledge of all cleaning chemicals that apply to packaging dept.
• Able to follow proper cleaning procedures on all equipment.
• Any other duties as assigned.
