Vertiv is hiring a Channel Programs Manager in Columbus, OH (or Chicago, IL or Austin, TX) as an integral part of our regional channel marketing strategy, responsible for designing and overseeing execution of our North American and LATAM Channel Programs. In this role, the Programs Manager will leverage their experience in IT channels to work cross-functionally with our Americas channel marketing and sales teams as well as global channel programs team members to design, enhance, and execute channel program offerings in the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Channel Programs and Process Design

  • Align with regional channel strategy and global programs to define and implement program parameters including incentive structure, partner, and product eligibility
  • Collaborate with channel sales and marketing peers to design partner program features or enhancements, and communicate updates
  • Own the internal and external training process to optimize tool adoption
  • Maintain partner portal and support content lifecycle as needed
  • Participate and manage Americas Vertiv Partner Portal enhancements requests as part of the PRM Governance team
  • Direct and manage content for partner program collateral and user guides
2. Partner Incentives Management
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to ensure new Vertiv partners are set up for success, as a part of the partner activation process
  • Lead and manage incentive programs for the Americas region, including Deal Registration, "Vertiv VIP Rewards", Trade-In programs
  • Validate required data to approve scheduled and agreed partner program payments
  • Lead internal discussions and updates regarding partner incentive proposals, adjustments, and to-partner communications
  • Coordinate with cross-functional peers to execute national promotions in North America
3. Regional Implementation of Global Programs Initiatives

• Act as the Americas channel liaison for global partner program initiatives
  • Contribute regional partner program insights to global programs team
  • Project manage regional program set-up and adoption
4. Administration
  • Manage and communicate partner tier adjustments within the Americas region
  • Collaborate with channel leadership to manage programs-related budget allocation on systems
  • Collaborate with marketing operations and sales analytics team to create and maintain ongoing reports
  • Manage and onboard partners to access channel program tools, including partner portal and incentives
  • Manage Internal partner program communications with cross-functional peers, and external communications with partner community
  • Liaise with vendors, Vertiv operations and finance teams as point of contact to manage user access, and address payments / invoicing questions
Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business administration or marketing

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with Americas IT distribution channel and intermediaries (distributors, VARs, DMRs, MSPs)
  • Experience contributing to the design or improvement to channel partner programs and incentives, as well as the execution and administration of channel programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent project management skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous channel marketing or sales experience with a technology manufacturer or channel intermediary
  • Channel knowledge and experience with both North American and LATAM region is an asset
  • Previous experience with financial / P&L analysis is an asset
  • Previous experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an asset
  • Language: working proficiency with Spanish and/or Portuguese is an asset
  • 5+ years experience
