Opportunity

The Channel Manager- Campaigns and Strategic Partnerships manages the go to market strategy & execution for collaborations with external brands, celebrities, VIPs & influencers that align with Kohler's brand values and our consumer's passion pillars to provide Kohler with value and ROI from our activations.

This position leads assigned end to end key partnership programs including celebrity, influencer, licensing, sponsorship and co-branded go to market strategies for Kohler Brand to deliver brand value and ROI.  

Specific Responsibilities

  • Develops end to end Go-To-Market Strategy for assigned strategic partnerships.
  • Evaluates incoming pitches for brand fit and omni channel value.
  • Sources new brand collaboration opportunities while building and maintaining relationships with influencers across different social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook etc.), topics and interests.
  • Negotiates mutually beneficial and collaborative go-to market plans with Brands and Influencers.
  • Researching and identifying influencers for multiple programs/product campaigns.
  • Builds partnerships with new and existing influencer networks with a high level of customer service.
  • Stays on top of relevant social media platforms, trends and competitor activity and pivots as necessary.
  • Creates materials and reporting for internal and external influencer communication.
  • Initiates and executes deals, both directly with influencers and via agencies and management companies from start to finish.
  • Own communication with partners to ensure contracted deliverables are met.
  • Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Oversees Partnership budget & Contracts- managing both externally and internally.
  • Evaluates opportunities based on best ROI.

  • Strong collaboration and sphere of influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Self Starter- entrepreneurial.
  • Highly articulate; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a good handle on current trending influencers and pop culture.
  • Must have wide range of interests from Mass to Luxury.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Experience managing and negotiating with external partners (Agents, talent, vendors).
  • Adept in creative problem-solving, extremely resourceful and proactive.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrates a high level of maturity and presence.
  • Active on social media, either personally or professionally.

Skills/Requirements

  • Four-year degree required. Emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism or English preferred.
  • 5-7 years partnerships, PR, licensing, or social media experience required.
  • Strong writing skills a must.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint, required.
  • Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented.

Preferred:

  • Relevant experience with Brand Collaborations in the areas of Art, Design, Wellness, Fashion.

Travel

  • Travel to events, photo shoots and activations as needed, approximately 15%.
