Description Position Title: Graduate Assistant - College of Education, Leadership Studies, and CounselingSupervisor's Title & Department: Interim Dean of the College of Education, Leadership Studies, and CounselingSession: Academic (August 12, 2024 - May 16, 2025) This is a one-year placement with an opportunity for re-application and hire.Hourly Rate: $17.00Average hours per week: Up to 20 hours per weekJob Purpose: The CELC Graduate Assistant serves in a supportive role for programs within the college.Responsibilities:

Administrative support for course development and materials (20%)Assist program faculty with administrative tasks related to program operations (20%)Coordinate marketing efforts with the CELC Marketing GA and MARCOM (10%)Support the programs' student recruitment efforts through outreach and event attendance (15%)Assist program faculty with event planning and preparation (15%)Assist program faculty with accreditation efforts (20%)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be a current full-time graduate student at the University of Lynchburg. Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in the Master's of Education Programs.
