The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all undergraduate teaching labs. This includes maintaining and updating course materials, equipment, web pages, and the schedule. It also includes supervising and training the TAs responsible for teaching the labs and setting up the labs.

The Coordinator will also hold regular office hours, advise and mentor students, and serve on departmental, college, and university committees as needed.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: (1) a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field by the time of appointment, (2) familiarity with operations and maintenance of lab equipment, and (3) willingness to supervise and train our large pool of Teaching Assistants.

To apply for the position, interested and qualified candidates should submit the following documents, compiled as a single PDF, through the University of Miami HR site https://www.hr.miami.edu/: (1) a cover letter, (2) a resume, and (3) a statement of teaching philosophy.
