Job Details

The Care Companion (CC) provides continuous observation of assigned patients, under the direction and supervision of a Professional Registered Nurse, including providing developmentally appropriate stimulation and responsive caregiving, verbally redirecting the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviors and summoning the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Additionally, the CC can provide developmental support to the patient based on direct instructions from a La Rabida patient care provider.

Job Requirements:

Conditions of Employment Required to demonstrate full vaccination status for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) with a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized or FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine; OR Qualify for a reasonable accommodation for an exemption from vaccine requirements based on a medical disability or because of a sincerely held religious belief.
