The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) proudly provides the highest quality integrated care for over 750,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We invite applications for a full-time Cardiologist - Electrophysiologist to support our D.C./ Suburban Maryland service area.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States we provide high-quality, patient centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect:

• Candidates will be performing left-side ablation, pulmonary vein isolation and VT ablation
• Candidates will be working with contemporary device implant and management
• 3 days of EP lab/procedure time.
• 2 days office time per week. Dedicated reading time for Device clinic.
• Call shared with other EPs in the region: 1 weekend in 4
• General Cardiology call 2: weekends per year

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology

• Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship required
• Lead/ device extraction is a preferred
• Interest in program building & leadership is preferred

• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

• Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants
