Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and engage potential suppliers for continued sourcing opportunities.
  • Actively manage supplier portfolio and supplier contracts of assigned commodity.
  • First point of contact for assigned commodity procurement activities.
  • Prepare and process RFQ's and Purchase Orders for the procurement of production equipment and tooling.
  • Negotiates with vendors, obtains, and analyzes quotes to ensure the best costs, payment terms and delivery options.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project teams and key plant operations personnel and any other relevant stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Identify and communicate supplier risks, facilitate escalation meetings, and follow-up on recovery measures.
  • Track and record savings and cost avoidance contribution into the respective CIP database.
  • Partner with Engineering to investigate and pursue operational cost savings projects.
  • Support Accounts Payable in resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Promote an environment of highest integrity and esprit de corps
  • Travel of up to 30% of your time to suppliers and manufacturing plants can be expected


Your Skills & Strengths
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or similar technical related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical procurement or involvement of procurement of Capital Equipment and Tooling.
  • Experience in Negotiation, Financial Cost Analysis, Market Analysis, and KPI Reporting.
  • Ability to read Technical Drawings and Specifications.
  • General knowledge of Manufacturing Processes such as Assembly, Stamping, Injection Molding, Casting, Machining.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and target objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IT systems and Applications such as ERP, MS Office, etc
