The Capacity Engineer I-II will provide design and regulatory compliance guidance to both internal and external customers regarding front-end equipment configurations.

This position provides the means for customers and dealers to comply with O.S.H.A. regulations by providing name plate information and replacement name plates for Hyster and Yale product modified in the field. This position guards against incorrect component changes that affect capacity, stability and safe operation of Hyster and Yale products. Information is verified from truck records or calculated based on truck options added to the truck to create the necessary name plate. In addition, this position will support the generation and distribution of Software Enabled Options (SEO's) for field modifications, along with troubleshooting issues with truck (options) software. SEO's include both premium product options and custom (customer requested) options.

The successful Capacity Engineer II will have the following Key Accountabilities:

• Provide field replacement nameplates within government and industry standards within corporate guidelines on a timely basis for both current and non-current product.
  
• Provide production nameplates for Greenville and Ramos Mfg facilities within government and industry standards within corporate guidelines on a timely basis to meet manufacturing production schedules.
  
• Provide capacity and stability data for sales quotations.
  
• Maintain technical library for current and non-current product line.
  
• Provide support to the Aftermarket Software Enabled Options (SEO) process to include software generation, troubleshooting ,and record keeping
  

The successful Capacity Engineer II will have the following Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or Engineering Technology degree.
  
• Minimum 1 year on the job experience in generation of aftermarket/production nameplates along with electrical, hydraulic, and power train systems.
  
• Knowledge of statistics and dynamics of engineering mechanics, ability to do manual capacity, weight and balance calculations
  
• P.C. skills (Windows, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer)
  
• Familiarity with Hyster and Yale unit record files and data, and brand product lines
  
• Operation of Portland, WWRP rating systems and HYG rating polices, knowledge of ITSDF B56.1, O.S.H.A. and HYG Engineering regulations/policies impacting name plates
