The Novelis North America Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a Campus Recruiter to help build our summer internship program, working on lasting partnerships with Colleges and Universities and recruiting the best talent for Novelis. This position will execute on a strategy to improve the organizations' presence with students on college campuses and work cross-functionally with Talent Management to streamline intern trainings, agendas, surveys and ensure synchronization.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle recruitment (posting, sourcing, screening, candidate selection, offer) for intern and entry level positions (recent graduates) for all the 17 Novelis manufacturing sites
- Building positive relationships with Colleges and Universities
- Handling the planning and management of university student events on campus and/or virtual and attend those events
- Partnering with the Learning and Development and Talent Management teams to continue building out and improving an internship program that meets the needs of the business, and is compelling to prospective applicants
- Using social media and other digital attraction tools such as Handshake, LinkedIn and Symplicity to engage with prospective candidates and improve brand awareness
- Evaluating and measuring campus recruiting results, and identify areas for process and performance improvement for assigned locations
- Focusing on the development and support of diversity recruiting efforts across college campuses
Minimum Qualifications: - 3 - 5 years' experience as a campus/university recruiter or recruiter who has worked on internships programs and/or college recruitment projects
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50% during peak intern season
- Proficient with using social media and digital attraction tools for candidate engagement.
Preferred Qualifications: - Hands on Experience with University resume databases (Symplicity and Handshake), and applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred)
- Familiarity with social media sourcing
- Proven ability to network and build solid relationships with universities
- Experience engaging, relating, and recruiting for entry level talent
- Understanding of labor legislation as it pertains to internships
