Overview

U Pull-&-Pay (UPAP) is a dynamic company with a nationwide network of retail self-serve used auto parts stores. As a customer focused organization, UPAP exists to provide low cost, used auto parts to our customers. Our inventory and interchange information services enhance the customer experience. Customers bring their own tools into UPAP stores and remove valuable auto parts from an environmentally processed inventory of autos. These auto parts are purchased according to a specific price list shared with our customers. UPAPs inventory of autos is rotated continuously.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a role model with safety policies and practices
  • Oversee daily operations including teammate hiring and development
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Provide coaching and assistance to team to meet job requirements
  • Answer calls as needed to ensure the office maintains department goals
  • Oversee and ensure conflict resolution between representatives and customers
  • Seek out feedback and updates from all stores and regional buyers
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, Advertising, Accounting, and other support services to ensure the office is operating properly
  • Ensure all representatives follow the company's purchasing guidelines
  • Develop ways to motivate, educate and maintain positive morale within the office
  • Update weekly scorecard and report cards
  • Analyze reports and execute a continuous improvement environment
  • Stay current on state laws to ensure the vehicles are purchased legally
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels within and outside the organization. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree or three (3) years of relevant supervisory experience preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of customer service or call center experience required
  • Must possess excellent problem solving, organizational, and team building skills
  • Must possess a level of proficiency with Excel, Work and Outlook
  • Ability to multitask by handling a high volume of calls
  • Must display the ability to make autonomous decisions
  • Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training and developing a team preferred
