GDH Consulting is looking for a Business Requirements Manager to work remotely.

The Business Requirements Manager is the key contact for our customer, ensuring all funding for each of our projects is received in a timely manner. The Business Requirements Manager will not participate in delivery/execution of any Customer projects. We are looking for a bright and proven individual who will own and nurture the relationship between the Client and customer.

Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvements
  • Collaborates daily with customer, peers, account leaders and external and internal partner (Project Manages, Engineers, Sales, etc.)
  • Lead Cisco communication and engagement for engagement request for services
  • Consolidate, understand, challenge, and be able to support all engineering scopes
  • Able to understand, articulate and position the value of the service delivery solution to the customer and gain the agreement of requirements and scope with customer
  • Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
  • Utilize standard templates to generate and submit quotes
  • Manage Scoping Resources
  • Manage workflows through Atlassian Jira
  • Document project information for tracking and transition
  • Seamlessly transition projects, once funded, to Delivery Project Manager by ensuring the following is provided:
    • Communication of transition to customer
    • Project meeting invitations
    • Meet with Delivery PM to review docs:
      • Scope
      • Quote
      • Risks document
      • Key stakeholders/resources
      • Billable and non-billable hours charged
      • Engineering scoping documents
      • Meeting minutes
  • Provide guidance for and quote any project change request
  • Focus on continuous quality improvements
  • Able to understand, articulate and position the value of the service delivery solution to the customer

Preferred Experience & Skill Set

  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills including scheduling, financial reporting, performance reporting, communications, issues/risks/actions management, and other key PM skillsets
  • CX/Customer Service and/or Crisis Communication experience
  • Experience working in agile teams and deliver solutions using agile methodology
  • Organized and professional verbal and written business communication that assures successful delivery of business objective
  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a team with engineers, business analysts, and others, while attending to details
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership
  • Comfort with and desire to continuously learn new things
  • Ability to work within a team environment
