Job Description

Position Purpose:

The Associate, Business Performance will be responsible for supporting the VP of Business Performance in various areas including profitability analysis, financial modelling, project management, managing the region's efficiency programs, and handling special projects as they arise. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, coordinating projects, and ensuring the efficient operation of the department.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Profitability Analysis:
  • Conduct profitability analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and provide insights to support business objectives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing key findings and recommendations.
• Efficiency Programs Management:
  • Manage the region's efficiency programs to optimize operational performance.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Financial Modeling:
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information.
• Project Management:
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion.
  • Track project progress and report on key milestones to the VP of Business Performance.
• Special Projects:
  • Handle special projects as assigned by the VP of Business Performance.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and provide analysis to support project objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, slides, sheets etc)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in business performance analysis or related roles is preferred.
