Meet the team:

Global Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) is a critical new function at Dexcom playing a key role in strategic planning. Partnering across the enterprise, anticipating external stakeholder needs, and surveying the competitive landscape, the IEP team creates strategic evidence generation plans that align with Dexcom's mission. As part of the Global Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) team, the Business Operations Manager will lead core business processes to ensure deliverables are executed on strategy, on budget, and on time. This will involve close partnership with the Head of IEP, as IEP is a new function which represents a great opportunity to build the core processes this role will manage, including the leadership communication cycle, document control, business continuity and more. The Business Operations Manager will bring success to the team through effective relationship management, and value creation by leveraging the full capacity of the IEP team.

Where you come in:

  • You will partner with the Head of IEP to establish department performance measures, socialize performance metrics among team members, and monitor and report on activity related to and achievement of performance metrics.
  • You will create and implement core business processes to promote effective, efficient, scalable and repeatable business function.
  • You will manage the leadership communication cycle, setting expectations, identifying scope of work, timelines, and accountabilities.
  • You will create and oversee a document management system ensuring business continuity
  • You will help lead global projects and teams, gaining and sustaining trust by delivering timely, quality results and making strategic recommendations along the project lifecycle.
  • You will communicate plan progress, adjustments and corrections to all relevant stakeholders
  • You will be a subject matter expert on business tools such as the MS office suite, and other software tools adopted in IEP business operations.
  • You will partner with the IEP leadership team to plan and forecast budgetary requirements to optimize resource allocation for projects.

What makes you successful:
  • You have experience working as a project manager and/or building workflows within project management systems.
  • You can independently manage projects, timelines, and influence project teams to deliver useful and scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Your proficiency in written, verbal and visual communication, and demonstrated ability to coordinate and prioritize work helps your team close-out project objectives on time
  • You bring healthcare experience (payer, provider or medtech industry) to the team.
  • You have demonstrated success using the MS office suite of tools including creating and editing professional PowerPoint presentations and intermediate to advanced Excel skillset.
  • You have demonstrated success partnering with senior leadership to build a new function.

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 - 12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.

Travel Required:
  • 0-5%

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
