The Ads and Business Products team's mission is to make meaningful connections between people and businesses. This team is looking for a Business Operations Lead to join its leadership team, reporting to the VP of Business Products. This role will work across the organization, to align organizational plans and priorities to its long term business strategy. As a critical part of the team, this role gives you an opportunity to collaborate, drive strategic initiatives, shape communications, and form the culture at all levels of the organization. Due to the global nature of the role, 20% travel may be required.
  • Collaborate with VP of Business Products, leadership team and other key partners, including Executive Assistant, HRBP and Comms to drive strategic priorities for Business Products
  • Drive operational rhythm and use metrics to facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities. Ensure leadership team is spending time on highest priorities
  • Develop strategic calendar of key deliverables for organization for each half
  • Ensure work, people, and resources are aligned against highest priorities, and escalate as necessary to resolve misalignments
  • Ensure pre-work for executive meetings is clear and will facilitate intended outcomes, manage action items
  • Leverage cross-functional relationships to drive company-wide touch-points and leadership processes, including internal communications (i.e. Q&A's, All-Hands, posts and emails)
  • Partner with Executive Admin to coordinate meetings to facilitate decision making, manage escalations and develop long-term strategy of the business
  • Liaise with cross-functional partners to facilitate support for organizational priorities, including sales, partnerships, and marketing teams across Facebook
  • Represent the view of Business Interfaces organization, as appropriate
  • Lead ad hoc leadership initiatives as needed
  • 10 or more years of experience with project management, strategy, management consulting, research, or operations
  • Experience working directly with people at all levels, including executive and C-suite level, both inside and outside of a company
  • Experience managing multiple tasks under timelines and shifting priorities
  • Project management and communications (long- and short-form) experience
  • Experience cultivating internal relationships globally
  • Experience developing and driving strategy and execution plans
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
  • Understanding of go-to-market themes and experience in a sales or sales adjacent organization
