We are seeking a full time Business Development Specialist to join our team! This position is fully remote.
The Business Development Specialist (BDS) will be responsible for hunting and identification of new customers, business opportunities and support acquisition of new business from potential and existing customers through industry research, data mining, website research, prospecting, and client interactions. The BDS will support overall sales productivity, improvement efforts via supporting the implementation of best practices, supporting the improvement of existing processes, ensuring the integrity of various sales databases, and ensuring the accurate analysis and reporting of data to leadership. This is a remote position that can be anywhere in the United States. Target customers include biotech, pharma and large academic institutions involved in drug development and manufacturing of Biologics and Viral vector for Gene Therapies. The BDS will report directly to the VP of Business Development.
