Intrado is seeking a Business Development Associate for our Interactive Services Commercial Products group and can be remotely based or based in our Omaha, NE office. Interactive Services is focused on delivering unbelievable Customer Experience (CX) outcomes leveraging digital messaging, personalized and predictive self-service and cloud contact center infrastructure solutions.

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for exercising lead generation skills in an effort to optimize each contact with potential customers. This role will be a key support role to sales staff to optimize sales efficiency and enhance customer experience.

Essential Duties:
• Develop sales opportunities through extensive cold calling activities, working to turn prospective customers into leads
• Maintain excellent knowledge regarding products and product offers, engaging in additional on-the-job training, as well as on-going training
• Meet with perspective clients to educate and demonstrate value of assigned products and services
• Maintain established calls and completed calls per day goals
• Provide support to Sales leadership and team members ensuring to adhere to established timelines
• Assist in contract development as needed
• Assist sales and marketing staff with sales campaigns as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, marketing, or a related field
Experience:
• 1-2 years of sales, customer service, or marketing experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Basic knowledge of sales theories and techniques and ability to deal tactfully and courteously with clients
