RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Applications & Data Services Manager in Jacksonville, FL.Responsibilities:
  • Business Applications & Data Services Manager will manage and provide direction to support our Business Applications
  • Provide vision and leadership in alignment with organizational strategy
  • Evolve and track a technology roadmap for all business partners
  • Develop a service-oriented team that delivers exceptional solutions that align with Business Application requirements in a collaborative manner
  • Collaborate across all IT on data management and systems' integrations
  • Oversee team processes, monitor metrics, and make continuous improvements to elevate the team's efficiency
  • Effectively develop team to reach fullest potential; This includes coaching, objectives setting, performance management, career development, and feedback
  • Review workflows developed by developers/analysts to understand tasks the company system will perform
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to best support company initiatives
  • Guide the design, implementation, and delivery of work within the team that cultivates communication and best practices
  • As a Business Applications & Data Services Manager, you will collaborate with business partners, IT infrastructure and other IT applications teams to prioritize larger projects
  • Ensure compliance with changes management processes
  • Manage implementations of applications and ensure versions are kept current: Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new product, upgrades, and improvements to applications
  • Identify and evaluate non-profit industry trends to serve as a source of information and advice for future projects
  • Work closely and develop strong relationships with Business Applications business partners
  • Present team deliverable and track status of current projects and maintenance activities
  • Maintain overall responsibility of daily operations of the team


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field required; Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the degree
  • Minimum five (5) years of information technology experience
  • Minimum three (3) years as a supervisor/manager
  • Minimum three (3) years supporting and managing software/application function, knowledge of Finance and HR solutions
  • Practical technical and business domain experience relative to custom and/or vendor applications required
  • Experience managing IT Applications functions - software development, implementation, and support/maintenance services; Scope management, timeline, budget, SDLC (Agile, etc.)
  • Able to lead a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/priorities effectively and efficiently with varying complexity
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; Team player
  • Foster strong and collaborative relationships with team, internal business partners, and external vendors

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
