Job Profile Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Business Analyst to join our team. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of transforming our business needs into technology-driven solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in gathering, modifying, and recommending business requirements for our cutting-edge IT projects. This position will be full time and remote.

What You'll Do

  • The ideal candidate will work as a Lead Business Analyst throughout the SDLC
  • Organize requirements in ADO to support development; create functional design mock-ups using tools such as Balsamiq
  • Schedule and coordinate all testing activities including system, user acceptance, performance, and production verification
  • Elicitation of Requirements: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business needs and translate them into actionable IT requirements
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive business requirement documents, ensuring that the documented processes align with the project objectives and IT capabilities
  • Process Mapping: Document existing business processes and propose enhancements to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Requirements Management: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the IT team, managing and communicating business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Analysis and Solution Assessment: Analyze business problems and work collaboratively with the technical team to evaluate solution options that address business needs
  • Leadership: Guide and mentor junior business analysts on the team, promoting best practices in business analysis and process improvement

What You'll Need

Required:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analysis role
  • Proven track record of successful requirement elicitation, documentation, and management
  • Strong understanding of business process mapping and re-engineering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide junior analysts
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred
  • Familiarity with industry-standard Business Analysis methodologies and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
