Business Analyst III

This position operates on a Flex 1 schedule reporting to their local Pulse Point 0-3 times a month.

Job Summary

Responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for analyzing and identifying problems and opportunities, and recommending solutions that help improve operations, increase profitability, and achieve goals.
  • Analyzes data, evaluates business process, and identifies trends and patterns.
  • Tracks all business performance issues on behalf of the business area.
  • Acts as key liaison communicating with various stakeholders, including managers, developers, and end-users; conveys complex information in an easy to understand manner.
  • Manages multiple projects at once; including setting goals, establishing timelines, tracking and reporting progress.
  • Documents E2E business flows and supports design; leads critical business collaboration sessions to document desired output.
  • Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
  • Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
  • Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
  • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
  • Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
  • May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years conducting requirement gathering is preferred.
  • 3+ years working with PI technology and software feature design and enhancements is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and process modeling tools preferred.
  • Solid understanding of business operations and processes within Payment Integrity (Recovery Workflow Mgmt., Medical Record Workflow Mgmt., Correspondence/Letters Workflow Management, & Digital Orchestration) preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies, evolving business needs, and emerging trends within the industry preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $66,720 to $120,096.

Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
