General Purpose:

To perform various tasks within the Brine area and Molding department

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain master sanitation schedule for the brines
• Maintain functionality and integrity of brine and brine equipment
• CIP the brine UF system. Log CIP data into MSS
• Enter data into SAP
• Rebuild pumps & monitor maintenance needs in area
• Maintain salinity level in brine of 90 or higher
• Perform cleaning procedures within the brine area
• Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion
• Assist in other production areas as required
• Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Follow all DFA GMP's and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements
• Assist in training of new personnel

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Forklift and pallet jack certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Mechanical aptitude
• Understanding pipe configuration & flows
• Willingness to accept responsibilities for own work

• General computer knowledge

• Moderate physical effort is required, frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
• Constant bending, lifting, and twisting
• Exposed to moving parts in the brine area and molding department
• Worker is exposed to cold brine solution at times, a moist environment, heat, and noise throughout the work period
• Noisy environment, hearing protection required
• Temperatures could be below 50 degrees throughout the work period

• Exposure to chemicals
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
