Benchmark Human Services, a national leader committed to providing quality services to individuals with disabilities, is hiring! We are actively seeking applicants for a variety of positions to serve in our Connecticut locations.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct behavioral supports to children in the CT Birth to Three Program. Provides direct services with a billable caseload as assigned. Must be willing to flex schedule according to the child's/family needs.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comply with all Federal and State regulations, including those outlined in the Connecticut Birth to Three Program Regulations.
  • Participate in the IFSP development and implementation.
  • Monitor child outcomes as a member of the transdisciplinary team.
  • Provide early intervention supports to families for the benefit of the child.
  • Provides data and input as needed.
  • May update Curriculum-based tool with family as of Early Intervention Treatment Services.
  • Participates as a member of the team that meets at least monthly to receive support (as needed) to address child and family outcomes.
  • Maintain consistent communication and seek input from other team members. Interact with other support staff and administration to ensure continuity and coordination of the IFSP.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings as required.
  • Participate in Birth to Three sponsored trainings, meetings and learning opportunities as appropriate.
  • Assist with reviewing IFSP and related documents as requested and works with each individual team member on the child's IFSP.
  • Actively participate in early intervention related committees/workgroups.
  • Ensure that all progress notes are countersigned by appropriate designated supervisor.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all staff and children/families we serve.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid Connecticut driver's license.
  • Bachelor Degree in behavior analysis or in psychology, specific education or another human service discipline with an emphasis in behavior analysis.
  • Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. or the state of Connecticut.
  • Two years' experience working with infants and toddlers.
  • Knowledgeable about best practices for service delivery in early intervention.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
