Backend Engineer We are providing a platform to solve complex issues by allowing participants to perform secure transactions and safely share/access data across different healthcare communities. What You Will Be Doing - Develop features/improvements to our product suite in a secure, well-tested and performant manner
- Work side-by-side with Product Management during refinement to break down requirements into development tasks to be completed during sprints
- Write code that meets internal standards - style, maintainability, best practices
- Conduct peer code reviews with fellow Scrum team members
- Participate in weekday/weekend on-call rotations - assisting with troubleshooting production ops, security ops and any urgent engineering issues
- Complete & maintain required security training to access sensitive data in production environments
What You Need for this Position At least 3 years of experience with:

- Backend Software Engineering
- Golang, Python or Ruby (We use Golang)
- RESTful APIs
- Microservices
- Source Control tools - Git/Bitbucket
- Public Cloud Platforms - AWS/GCP/Azure (We use AWS)
- Database design and/or data modeling

Preferred experience:
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and interoperability (i.e. FHIR)
- Experience with Blockchain or distributed ledger technologies
