Position Summary::

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is looking for a part-time Auxiliary Services Support (Courier) team member in our Business Office. Primary duties include performing courier and delivery duties, loading materials and supplies, and driving our college van on assigned routes.

This position will require lifting, bending, reaching, pulling and heavy work. You may also be asked to assist the copy center staff and the Beacon's Nest campus store location(s).

Required Education/Experience::

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), and six (6) months of experience in courier delivery or labor activities; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. MUST HAVE A CLEAN/SAFE DRIVING RECORD

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills::

6 months experience in courier delivery. Minor computer skills (be able to log in to a college email account). Fork lift certification preferred.

Duty and Responsibility::

1. Perform courier and delivery duties at all campuses. Driving college delivery vehicle on an assigned route.

2. Picking up and delivery of materials, supplies and equipment to end user.

3. Coordinate mail services and manage postage machine. Mail pickup & delivery to post office. Sorting and delivering the mail.

4. Loading materials and supplies and performing errands as requested.

5. Assist in moving equipment. Assist copy center personnel @ N & S campus as needed.

6. Make bank and dry cleaner runs at all locations as needed.

7. Assist with stocking inventory. Assist in Beacon's Nest campus store. Provide coverage for shipping/receiving at College Station as needed. Other duties as assigned
