A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a non-exempt General Maintenance Assistant for the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance, custodial duties, repair, and restoration of the University's buildings and grounds including but not limited to minor carpentry, plumbing, and limited heating/air conditioning work. This work will assist in ensuring the security and general appearance of the campus buildings and surroundings grounds are maintained in accordance with the required standards.

The starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour. Hours will be typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some Saturdays or Sundays as needed.

Applicants should possess the following characteristics and experience:

  • Ability to work well with others
  • Superior customer service
  • High attention to timely delivery of services
  • 3 to 5 years in facilities maintenance or similar

Physical requirements:
  • Climbing ladders and working in tight spaces
  • Lifting heavy objects
  • Operating powered equipment
