GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Northland Pioneer College seeks a highly proficient and collaborative Associate Vice President Human Resources(AVPHR) committed to the mission, vision, and values of the College. The AVPHR, who reports directly to the President, will plan, organize and direct the Human Resources Department. The AVPHR will also develop, review, recommend, and implement human resource and compensation related policies and procedures. In addition, the college seeks an AVPHR who can develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of staff, maintain a high degree of confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism. The AVPHR must provide internal responsibility and leadership for the Human Resources Department, thereby assuring the effective and efficient operation of the department. The AVPHR must positively promote the college internally and externally.
