As an Associate Collections Representative, you will have the opportunity to work with high volume customers and offices to resolve issues with and collect on aging invoices. It is an exciting opportunity to not only build relationships with assigned customers and C.H. Robinson offices, but to also use your critical thinking skills to resolve everyday collections problems.

Our hybrid work model of 4 days remote and 1 day in office gives you the flexibility and choice so you can create a career that enhances your life.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills to determine root cause of aging invoices
  • Leverage systems functionality and established processes to resolve aging invoices
  • Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers, maintain open lines of communication and build rapport by providing timely and professional service
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members and/or leadership
  • Continue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of collections process
  • Works within established procedures and adheres to quality guidelines
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years collections experience.
  • Knowledge of Billing and Collections procedures
  • Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Self-directed, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, professional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
