Overview:Quinnipiac University's Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Partnerships. In this role, you will direct a corporate partnership program designed to enhance overall revenue generation. You will provide market analysis, solicit potential partners, develop comprehensive sponsor agreements and oversee fulfillment of advertising/marketing elements. You will work cooperatively with campus constituents to maximize sponsor opportunities that will benefit the entire University.About Quinnipiac:Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. Adheres to the highest standards of integrity and works in compliance with all University and NCAA rules and regulations
Direct all facets of a corporate partnership program to include market analysis, solicitation, development of sponsor agreements and fulfillment of advertising & marketing elements
- Work closely with the Associate Vice President of Corporate Partnerships (Development Office) on corporate partner prospecting and ideation
Develop strategies, in conjunction with Auxiliary Services, to engage University vendors in support of athletic/institutional initiatives
Work directly with athletic development staff to develop programs designed to support our coaches and student athletes
Manage special events with a focus on enhanced revenue generation, campus & community engagement and alumni outreach
Work in conjunction with the M & T Bank Arena marketing staff to coordinate advertising strategies designed to benefit the University and its partners.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience may substitute for some of the above education
Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years of experience with prior marketing and sales knowledge, on a college or professional level preferredStrong work ethic, organizational skills, and computer skillsAbility to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and corporate communityAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work nights, weekends, and some holidaysDemonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and/or a commitment to diversity and inclusionSpecial Instructions to Applicants:
