Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs (AVPAA) is responsible for providing effective planning and vision, comprehensive leadership, budget oversight, data analysis, and institutional coordination, supervision and oversight of all affairs and activities for: Online Learning, CTE Perkins' Grant, Aims' Curriculum, and Program Feasibility and Viability, Learning Commons, Prior Learning Assessment, Open Educational Resources, Faculty Teaching and Learning Center, as well as other Academic Affairs strategic tactics. The Asst. VPAA will also lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of training and professional development for the deans and department chairs. The AVPAA is responsible for implementing the Academic Plan as well as Strategic Plan tactics, including accreditation matters, policy and procedure reformation and other duties as assigned.

Coordination of Academic Affairs Operations 40%
Provides Academic Affairs leadership including Online Learning, CTE Perkins' Grant, Aims' Curriculum, Program Feasibility and Viability, Learning Commons, Prior Learning Assessment, Open Educational Resources, Faculty Teaching and Learning Center, and implements Academic Affairs strategic plan and Academic Master plan initiatives and other key Academic Affairs projects.
Department Management 35%
The Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs oversees all affairs that take place within the Learning Commons on all campuses, the office of Career and Technical Education, the Online Learning Department, and the Office of Learning Environments.
Organizational Development 20%
Oversees Program Feasibility and Viability development and support, provides annual reporting for the Executive Vice President.

Starting Compensation: $100,341.00
The hiring range for full-time positions is based on qualifications, experience and internal equity and one can earn up to 5% above the minimum salary stated in the job posting. Employees in these positions may be asked to participate in temporary assignments lasting less than 6 months (such as curriculum development, short term projects, meetings and substitute duties) which could amount to additional temporary pay.
