Assistant Teaching Professor - Japanese & Linguistics

Job Summary:

Assistant Teaching Professor in Japanese to teach introductory-level undergraduate language and culture courses and courses for the Program in Linguistics; advise students; contribute to professional and institutional services. Position is not eligible for tenure and begins August 15, 2022.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in a Linguistics field, Japanese as a Second Language, Japanese Language, or a closely related field, by date of appointment.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates who have at least a year of experience teaching Japanese at the college level; native or near-native fluency in both Japanese and English.
