These include but are not limited to advanced manufacturing and materials, artificial intelligence, sustainable engineering, robotics and mechatronics, simulation and applied mechanics, thermal-fluid science, and nanotechnology. Responsibilities of the position include teaching 18 credits per academic year, establishing an ongoing program of research, mentoring students in research, academic advising, and engaging in service activities that support the department, college, and university.
