The Assistant Merchant Ops associate is responsible for the planning and executing of the merchandise strategies in our stores and on our sites to meet or exceed top line sales, gross margin and inventory turns. The incumbent will partner with cross functional leaders on product assortments, pricing, and promotions, merchandising and customer engagement activities for our Direct to Consumer channels.

Responsibilities

  • Execute merchandise strategies and assortment plans in stores and on sites
  • Build out product planograms by brand and category with strategic intent
  • Partner with planner to ensure OTB discipline and react timely to business needs
  • Collaborate with Planner to develop financial plans by brand and category for stores and sites
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal business leads; product, marketing, visual merchandising, and store communications
  • Consistently evaluate space productivity to help build the optimal assortment
  • Lead the analysis and execution of product hind-sights and style out strategy sessions
  • Set and monitor in season pricing and promotional strategies
  • Own and execute the product lifecycle plans for stores and sites
  • Partner with marketing and visual team to build and execute go to market plans

Qualifications

Experience/Skills/Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent years of comparable experience
  • 3-5 years of retail experience
  • Strong merchandising, product, and marketing skills
  • Demonstrates strong solutions-based skill sets
  • Highly organized
  • Takes accountability for business and drives results
