Located in greater Boston and offering seven graduate programs in domestic and global policy and management, the Heller School is ranked by U.S. News & World Report in the top ten schools of social policy and health policy and management. The mission of the Heller School is to drive positive social change through research, education and public engagement that inform policies and programs designed to address disparities in well-being and social inclusion in a sustainable way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the admissions and yield process for the Master of Science in Global Health Policy and Management and the Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence, including application processing and review, and planning and presenting at on-campus and virtual events.
  • Manages the processing of visa requests for incoming Heller students.
  • Represents the Heller School at recruiting events locally and across the U.S., including events focused on recruiting underrepresented students.

Qualifications

  • This position is suitable for a flex schedule with two to three days in the office each week.
  • Sensitivity to issues of diversity, equity and inclusion as they affect the admissions process, and a demonstrated commitment to building a strong and diverse applicant pool.
  • Relevant experience in admissions or student services, excellent project management and organizational skills, and attention to detail.  
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to work well with faculty and staff, and a strong customer service orientation.  
  • Demonstrated ability to write and speak professionally and persuasively and to engage diverse audiences through group presentations and individual consultations.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience are required; master's degree preferred.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally.
