RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Application Developer in Boca Raton, FL.Summary:- The Application Developer will design, implement and maintain Java-based application that can be high-volume and low-latency
- Periodic deployment of java based software packages and troubleshooting, as needed
- Collaborate closely with IT teams at all stages of software development lifecycle, as needed
- Analyze user requirements to define business rules based on Program requirements
- As an Application Developer, you will identify and resolve any technical issues working in close coordination with Business & IT teams
- Automates testing processes by developing unit test scripts within XML, as needed
- Manage Java and Java EE application development in case of required changes
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for Application & Processes
- Utilize SQL skills to gather data, analyze and provide detailed analysis based on user requirements
- The Application Developer adheres to defined Governance framework with respect to programming standards and structured coding techniques
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Hands on experience with JAVA, J2EE based application development
- Experience with Eclipse IDE or NetBeans, GitHub
- Strong SQL skills, with experience in fetching and analyzing data
- Strong knowledge of Relational Databases
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
