RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an API Implementation Lead - Payment Solutions in Irvine, CA.Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead API solutioning discussions with clients to ensure product and technical requirements are understood and satisfied with the client's business and technical needs, as well as the firm's API capabilities
  • Engage directly with client staff in Treasury and Digital Payments to understand their existing technology framework and gain a detailed understanding of capabilities and limitations
  • Present complex ideas and solutions for effectively managing payment acceptance through APIs and suggest account structure (including DDAs, sponsored, and virtual accounts)
  • Serve as the client's primary implementation contact responsible for a successful end-to-end onboarding of Treasury solutions centered on API payment integration
  • As an API Implementation Lead, you will manage expectations through weekly client calls and project plan maintenance, and own internal and external communications to all stakeholders
  • Apply payment processing subject matter expertise to lead client solutioning; Core payment knowledge should vary from traditional ACH/wires to Real-Time and FX Payments


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 10 years of relevant work experience in a professional setting
  • 5-7 years of experience with complex treasury implementations
  • Knowledge of API and other Connectivity Products required (including Host-to-Host)
  • Technical consulting experience as a business analyst on systems integrations and familiarity with JSON-formatted messages using API endpoints
  • Direct experience working with clients and internal partners
  • Direct experiencing managing multiple projects (hands-on)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to clients and internal partners
  • Effective issue resolution and escalation skills; Must be able to recognize issues and their severity; Escalate to appropriate individuals/functions and own those that are appropriate
  • High confidence in interacting with technology teams (application development, quality assurance, and production support)
  • Able to work in a team environment and partner closely with colleagues
  • Passion for learning new working models, technologies, and industry trends
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a fluid environment as product & implementation processes are formalized
Preferred Skills:
  • Industry certifications (Client Treasury Professional and/or Project Management)
  • Prior experience working with FinTech clients and emerging markets
