Position: AP Accountant / Staff Accountant
Duration: Temp to hire
Pay: $36-43/hour

In this role, you'll dive into a fast-paced environment where your positivity and knack for heavy flow accounting will shine. Collaborate with our Purchasing team to create POs, master the art of 3-way matching, and keep things ticking along smoothly to avoid pesky credit holds. Managing expense reports and corporate credit cards will be second nature to you.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process vendor invoices with precision and adherence to company policies.
• Cultivate positive relationships with vendors, tackling inquiries and discrepancies head-on.
• Handle payment processing like a pro, whether it's by check, ACH transfer, or wire transfer.
• Keep accounts reconciled and discrepancies resolved on the regular.
• Track and record company expenses with finesse.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Keep meticulous records of all AP transactions.
• Collaborate with vendors to iron out issues and optimize payment terms.
• Dive into AP reports to glean insights and make recommendations for process improvement.
• Always be on the lookout for ways to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Work hand-in-hand with other departments to streamline processes and solve problems effectively.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of AP experience.
* Proficiency in manufacturing accounting software a plus.
* Attention to detail and accuracy are non-negotiable.
* Organizational and time management skills that would make a Swiss watch jealous.
* Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
* Stellar communication and interpersonal skills.
* A knack for problem-solving and critical thinking.
* A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
