The IT Procurement Analyst will lead strategic sourcing projects, perform data analysis, negotiate agreements and engage key stakeholders in the sourcing of Information Technology (IT) purchases. Primary responsibilities include executing analytics to support the Procure-to-Pay/Source-to-Pay process, in addition assisting with driving strategic sourcing strategies. This position is responsible for contributing and adhering to the processes and standards put into place for managing IT assets, managing costs, and optimizing hardware and software investments throughout their lifecycle.

The Analyst position is remote eligible with the ability to be 100% remote. The person in this role can sit anywhere in the United States with working hours expected to align with our Global Support Center based in Atlanta, GA (Eastern Standard Time).


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify proactive sourcing opportunities to reduce costs, increase services and manage company risk
  • Conduct research and benchmarking; collaborate with other department staff to provide subject matter expertise on all areas of technology spend
  • Drive the implementation of sourcing and supplier strategies and ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards and guidelines in alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Accounting, Legal and other departments as needed
  • Continuously drive to improve program quality, budget adherence, and successful outcomes
  • Act as subject matter expert and drive process improvement for the benefit of the Brands and own Contract Management System workflows and IT PMO approvals
  • Develop and communicate metric reports and executive dashboards on a monthly or as needed basis. Develop, track and continually improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Critical Success Factor (CSF's)
  • Prepare documentation for and coordinate QBR's with vendor partners
  • Reviews software license models before procurement to effectively manage, align and optimize the purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and compliance of software applications throughout their lifecycle
  • Identifies and escalates software license compliance issues based upon business, security, and legal risk
  • Manage IT Contractor Tracking, Reporting and Onboarding Process

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Information Systems (or MIS), Economics, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain Management
  • 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

  • 3+ years of experience in Technology Procurement
  • 3+ years of IT Asset Management or IT Financial Management
  • Experience evaluating RFI/RFP/RFQ, determining decision criteria, scoring vendor responses and recommending vendor selection
  • Experience with support applications like Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Spend Analytics and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P)
  • Proven track record of cost/asset tracking, and productivity improvements
  • Experienced in influence and drive change while building solid relationships with your internal clients and external vendors
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiation and supplier management

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple high priority projects within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to define problems, collect & analyzes data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of legal/contract structure & sourcing/procurement processes
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate technical verbiage into easily understandable language
  • Ability to work on complex issues that may require in depth analysis of data and business processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to present complex data to groups of internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Finance and accounting best practice knowledge and project management fundamentals; including developing and executing standard processes would be a plus
