Children's Discovery Center Park West is seeking an Administrative Assistant

The primary objectives of the Administrative Assistant are to maintain positive and professional interactions with team members at all levels, perform administrative and clerical duties, and provide general administrative support to school leadership and the administrative team.

Essential Tasks:

  • Administrative and Clerical Duties
    • Answer the central telephone system.
    • Serve as a first point of contact and resource for families.
    • Be cordial, attentive, and responsive to the needs of students and their families.
    • Maintain a professional relationship with parents of students.
    • Process mail.
    • Ensure office organization.
    • Deal with vendors.
    • Assists in ordering and stocking of office supplies.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Safety
    • Monitor the front door entry, gates and security cameras.
    • Badge all visitors including parents and vendors.
    • Knowledge of all safety drills and emergency procedures
    • Ensure compliance of health and safety requirements of state and local authorities.
