Position Summary
The Healthcare Management program at University College at the University of Denver is currently seeking adjunct faculty with extensive industry experience in healthcare management to teach HC 4015 Healthcare Finance. At this time, we are seeking applicants that can teach in person, on-campus hybrid, and online course formats.
HC 4015 Healthcare Finance course description:
This course presents an overview of financial management in healthcare organizations operating in the United States. Students will gain a broad overview of the business of healthcare in the United States, including interpretation of financial statements, budgeting, variance analysis, operational analysis, capital investment analysis, expense management issues, revenues, and payment systems used in the current United States healthcare system. The course will use a case-based approach where students will demonstrate mastery of financial management skills through application of knowledge to real-life scenarios from the industry.

University College uses the Learning Management System (LMS) Canvas for all courses, regardless of delivery mode. Instructors will receive a designed course container and will be expected to manage and engage in the course while infusing real-world examples into the curriculum and offering a diversity of perspectives as presented through materials, resources, authors/readings, and speakers if applicable.
