Schedule Information: Day/evenings/weekends depending upon course schedule. For Fall 2023, we are specifically looking for someone to teach two sections of Ethics (pending sufficient enrollment). One section is an asynchronous online course that runs from August 21st to December 15th. The other section is a blended course with both online and face-to-face components. This section meets face-to-face on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am - 12:15pm and runs from October 16th to December 10th.

***This posting will be used to obtain a pool of qualified candidates for the above subjects. As teaching needs arise, these applications will be reviewed for possible interviews***

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application can remain "Under Review by Committee" for 18 months. You may check your status at any time by logging into jobs.harpercollege.edu with your username and password.

Job Description: The Philosophy Department is looking to hire qualified applicants for the Fall 2023 semester. Education Requirements: The minimum requirement is an M.A. in Philosophy or an MA in a related discipline with 18 semester hours in graduate level philosophy from an accredited institution.

Experience Requirements: Teaching experience is preferred
