Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in Biology. The successful candidate will teach one to three three-hour labs held in-person. The start date for Spring 2023 is January 9, but the Department seeks candidates for future semesters as well. Contracts may be renewed on a semester-by-semester basis pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success. The successful candidate will hold an MS or Ph.D. in a biological field or a masters degree in a related field plus 18 graduate hours in a biological field. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills; be familiar with biological laboratory instruction; and have experience as a teacher at the college level (or demonstrable promise thereof).Applicants are asked to send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and unofficial graduate transcripts with their application.
