Shaner Corporate Office is actively looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing team!

Accounts Payable Associate compiles and maintains some corporate accounts payable. Candidate must be able to perform accounts payable tasks for the corporate Accounting Department. Candidate plays an integral part in Shaner by performing these accounting related functions to ensure that the Accounting Department's operations flow smoothly.

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
o Must have a High School Diploma
o Must have 1-3 years related experience and/or training
o Must have general knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices
o Ability to perform basic math tasks
o Must be able to communicate effectively as well as have the ability to interact positively with co-workers and provide prompt solutions to problems
o Must be familiar with a variety of the accounting field's concepts, practices, & procedures
o Must have ability to multi-task and perform a variety of tasks
o Must be detail oriented and organized
o Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather & analyze info skillfully
o Be proficient in Excel and have various computer experience in Fusion, Internet, and Power Point

Other job related duties may be assigned.

1) Match invoices to receiving documents
2) Post invoices into the computer system using Fusion
3) Generate accounts payable and refund checks
4) Research statements, and discrepancies
5) File paid and unpaid invoices and statements
6) Organize and match returns paperwork
7) Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
8) Print and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checks
9) Maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files
10) Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
