Position Summary

The Local Account Manager Associate will be trained to support the organization's objectives by building and maintaining long term business relationships with client managers in the local market. This individual should effectively and consistently communicate by phone and in person with client managers and identify and generate consultant assignment opportunities. The Account Manager Associate will work towards meeting the requirements of a successful performing quarter as defined by management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, interview and add consultants to the Oxford database as part of the training
  • Check client managers references as part of the training
  • Recruit local consultants for office listings to set up sendouts and make assignments as part of the training
  • Attend client manager on-site visits with Sr. Account Managers or Manager
  • Meet the production goals for the quarter as defined by management: recruiting, adding client managers to his/her database and assigning consultants to assignments
  • Participate in the Account Manager training and learn essential networking skills
  • Identify client managers through telephone cold calling, research print material and internet resources
  • Call potential and existing hiring managers within current client companies
  • Network with existing managers to identify new managers within client companies

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality of the database information through follow-up calls and correspondence
  • Generate consultant assignment opportunities with new and existing client managers
  • Work with the client manager and Oxford Account Manager to clearly define the skills required on a consultant assignment
  • Determine the consultant's project assignment start and end dates
  • Resolve all issues pertaining to a consultant's employment in a timely fashion
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must
  • MUST be comfortable making outbound sales calls
  • Creative, outgoing, energetic person with a demonstrable track record of exceeding goals
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, competitive environment
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills

Education

Bachelor's Level Degree

Experience

  • 0-2 years of work experience preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
