Salary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
Position Overview: The 2nd Shift Supervisor, who will be overseeing 60-70 staff members, is a key role within our bakery production operation. This individual will be directly accountable to the Production Manager and will be instrumental in achieving the company's quality and efficiency objectives. The successful candidate will exemplify servant leadership by guiding, educating, and managing team member relations. The working hours for this role are from 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the tasks, training, and growth of other leaders and team members during the shift.
• Foster effective communication and relationships with team members and other production leaders.
• Uphold the company's established standards of quality, yield, and timing.
• Be a hands-on supervisor, spending most of the time on the production floor, guiding team members through challenges.
• Formulate and execute strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize waste. Promote and contribute ideas for continuous operational improvement.
• Suggest and aid in the execution of operating procedures, which may involve troubleshooting issues and making production decisions based on various factors (labor, ingredients, mechanical).
• Adhere to GMPs, Team Member Safety, and Food Defense Policies to maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work environment.
• Foster a strong safety culture to prevent accidents in the workplace.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team (scheduling, sales, plant manager) to ensure customers receive complete and punctual shipments.
• Keep accurate and timely daily records.
